The castle

La Folie < BraineLa Folie < BraineA few steps from the village, coiled in the heart of nature, you will discover the ruins of the Château de la Folie, whose ruins emerge on the edge of the forest. Former fortress of the twelfth to thirteenth century, this castle was unfortunately wiped out by the fighting of the Great War.
Nature is now gradually regaining its rights, and these imposing ruins are gradually disappearing under the vegetation. This creates a very special atmosphere around this site, which will please romantics and lovers of old stones.
