The exhibition “The Rose and the Storm”, located in the center of the nave of the churchof the former abbey Saint-Léger de Soissons, offers the public to visualize the restoration of the stone network of the western rose of the cathedral Saint-Gervais Saint-Protais in Aisne fallen and deposited after the Egon storm of January 2017. The church indeed embodies, in the same way as the cathedral, an essential historical monument of the town of Soissons which share its quality, its proportions and its period of construction constitutes an ideal place at the height of the work to be presented.

This exhibition furthermore celebrates the dynamics of reconstruction engaged and salutes the work of the various trades as well as the collaboration between the various regional services involved in the success of this project.
