After the French Revolution, it even became a private château. Abandoned for several decades following the bombardments of the First World War, the abbey is now enjoying a revival thanks to a meticulous restoration project led by a team of passionate volunteers. Join them as they explore some of the most interesting archaeological sculptures and architectural features. You can admire the chapter house with its traces of polychromy. The volunteers are determined to create a cultural hub around a stone museum and regular stone-cutting courses.
