Adjacent to the Camille Claudel vocational school, the Chapelle Saint-Charles belongs to the town of Soissons. It has been classified as a Historic Monument since 9 May 1922. Its woodwork was classified by decree on 17 November 1910. The Chapel Saint-Charles is the only vestige of the Major Seminary (created in Soissons in 1682) which has survived in its architectural entirety.
