La Bienvenue

Halfway between Villers-Cotterêts and Pierrefonds, Yannick and Carole are delighted to welcome you to their home "La Bienvenue", a charming duplex in the village of Taillefontaine. It's a great place to spend a weekend with family and friends. The first level of the gîte comprises an entrance hall, a kitchen, a sitting area and a cosy Art Deco-inspired bedroom. The second level features a children's bedroom, a colorful bathroom and plenty of storage space. Outside, the gîte has its own private enclosed garden, ideal for playing games or enjoying a meal in the garden furniture. Soak up the bucolic atmosphere, where you can hear the gentle song of the birds and the whisper of the wind through the trees.

Many activities are available in the vicinity for outdoor adventures: accrobranche for thrill-seekers, pedal boats on Lake Pierrefonds, horse or pony rides with the Villers-Cotterêts equestrian center. Prefer a stroll? Stroll through the picturesque village of Longpont, with its beautiful abbey. Then escape together on the trails of the Retz forest - they're very close to the gîte - and climb to the top of the Mangin tower at 245 meters for a breathtaking view of the canopy. A few kilometers away, discover Pierrefonds Castle: a castle straight out of a fairy tale, where children will quickly fall in love with knights and princesses. Then, in Villers-Cotterêts, test your knowledge with an interactive dictation and a host of fun activities at the Cité internationale de la langue française.
