La Fontaine Racine

This 16th century bourgeois house, entirely renovated, awaits you in the heart of Jean Racine's birthplace, in La Ferté-Milon. Built on the ramparts of the castle of Louis I of Orleans, along the Ourcq canal, it has a private garden with one of the watchtowers dating from the 13th century. Only 1 hour from Paris (trains to Paris-Est every hour) and 10 minutes from Villers-Cotterêts, come and discover this house where Jean de La Fontaine's marriage contract was signed in 1647. The rooms located on the first floor are all equipped with a large adjustable bed, a private bathroom, a relaxation area with secure wifi access (fibre). A courtesy tray is at your disposal.
