L'atelier d'art : Solange Palacios-Dupont

Solange PALACIOS-DUPONT, painter, master calligrapher and illuminator, has opened her studio in the courtyard of the town hall in the charming medieval village of VIEIL-ARCY in the Aisne department. The workshop is a surprising detour on the tourist itineraries that lead to the village. Always by appointment, our host is happy to share her passion for painting and illumination. During the visit, she will show you around her studio and her illuminations, exhibiting a selected collection renewed each year. Working in the medieval tradition, she will explain the preparation of colors, inks and parchment according to ancestral recipes.
