Christine, your host, has completely renovated the gîte with an ecological approach, where every detail has been designed to combine modern comfort with respect for the environment. From sustainable materials to energy-efficient systems, everything has been carefully selected to offer an authentic yet eco-responsible holiday experience.

Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the gîte offers a haven of peace for 2 to 3 people in a warm, cocooning atmosphere. The living room features a wood-burning stove that radiates gentle warmth, creating an intimate and comforting atmosphere. Natural materials and soft tones invite you to relax, while the large windows let in natural light, revealing the beauty of the Aisne valley below. Make yourself comfortable with a good book or a cup of tea, and let the crackling fire in the wood-burning stove lull you to sleep. Upstairs, a large bedroom with a queen-size bed takes up all the space, providing a real cosy nest. The bedroom also features a study area and a convertible sofa. In fine weather, you can take advantage of the terrace to share a meal of local produce (Christine will give you her good addresses) prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. Sun loungers are available to relax in the cool shade of the cherry tree.

Just a stone's throw away, hiking trails await you for outdoor escapades, offering endless possibilities for exploration: the Saint-Martin fountain, the Retz forest and the Compiègne forest are just a few minutes away. The B&B is also a central point for discovering the rich local heritage: the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française, the majestic Châteaux de Pierrefonds and the Cité du Vase.
