Le Perchoir

Nestled in the hills above Ressons-Le-Long, halfway between Soissons and Villers-Cotterêts, Le Perchoir is a large house, one of those little corners of paradise where family and friends gather for a weekend of conviviality. The gîte comprises a first floor with a large, fully-equipped kitchen and a living room with comfortable sofas and a functional fireplace. Upstairs are five bedrooms, a playroom for the kids and two bathrooms. A large terrace with tables and garden furniture offers a breathtaking panoramic view over the Aisne valley: ideal for a convivial family tea party. A sandpit and barbecue are at your disposal to make the most of this bucolic setting.

Le Perchoir is also the starting point for numerous hiking trails through the woods, perfect for rejuvenating strolls through the surrounding countryside. In addition to hiking in the nearby Retz forest, there are plenty of other activities to keep the whole family entertained: accrobranche for thrill-seekers, walks on the voie verte for cyclists and walkers, or electric boat trips for a unique experience on the water.

The surrounding area is full of monuments steeped in history. Just a few kilometers away, discover the Château de Pierrefonds: a castle straight out of a fairy tale, where children will quickly fall in love with knights and princesses. Then, in Villers-Cotterêts, test your knowledge with the whole family at the Cité internationale de la langue française.
