Le Ravin du Loup 2 (ou "Wolffschlucht 2")

Behind this strange name hides a very surprising site inherited from the Second World War. Built by the Nazis in view of a possible invasion of Great Britain, it was supposed to coordinate the organization. It was never used for this disastrous project, but its gigantic size - some forty concrete structures - made it a masterpiece among the fortified sites of occupied France at that time. Nowadays, it can be visited in season (from March to September) during guided tours and also hosts many events open to the public...
