Monument des 46e et 146e RAC

A small monument to the 46th and 246th Colonial Artillery Regiments, inaugurated in 1925, stands on the Route du Pendu, at the edge of the forest on the Fleury plain, surrounded by a fence and four coniferous trees.


A simple cross carved in stone adorns the monument, on the back of which we read: "To the pious memory of Georges DUMONT of the 46th RAC who, at this place, was mortally struck by shrapnel on June 3, 1918, at the age of 20".
