The French National Cemetery of Vauxbuin is located on the National Road 2, on the right when coming from Soissons, in the direction of Paris. Built in 1919, this 16,096m² cemetery is home to 4,916 soldiers, of whom 4,899 fell in the First World War. Among them, there are 281 British soldiers and one Russian soldier. This cemetery also contains the bodies of 17 combatants of the Second World War. It also contains the graves of German soldiers of the Great War, which makes it so special.
