La Fontaine Racine

This fully-renovated 16th-century maison bourgeoise awaits you in the heart of Jean Racine's birthplace, La Ferté-Milon. Built on the ramparts of the château of Louis 1er d?Orléans, along the Ourcq canal, it features a private garden with one of the 13th-century watchtowers. Only 1 hour from Paris (trains to Paris-Est every hour) and 10 minutes from Villers-Cotterêts, come and discover this house where Jean de La Fontaine signed his marriage contract in 1647. The rooms on the second floor are all equipped with a queen-size bed, private bathroom and relaxation area with secure wifi access (fiber). A courtesy tray is available.
